TERMS AND CONDITIONS
 
  HOW TO BOOK:              
 
Telephone us on +44 (0) 1395 273 353 - please leave your details on our answerphone and we will call you back and confirm the availability. We will then send you a booking form (which can also be viewed/printed at the above website) and your reservation will be held for 3 working days whilst we await the return of your completed booking form and deposit cheque (including any hire charges). You will then receive prompt confirmation of your booking.
 
  Full balance of your booking fee is required one month prior to commencement of your holiday.  
  All cheques should be made payable to E. THOMAS.  
  Cancellation Insurance is obligatory.  
 
Final details concerning key collection and other relevant matters will be sent to you after full payment has been received.
 
 
Your booking is a legally binding contract, and like all contracts you should protect yourself in case things go wrong. That is why we ask you to take out holiday cancellation insurance and advise us of the scheme you have chosen.
 
                     
  BOOKING CONDITIONS:              
  All bookings entered into are subject to the following conditions:  
 
1. There shall be no variation in the number and composition of the party of guests without the prior consent of E. Thomas.
 
 
2. Whilst E. Thomas will endeavor to ensure that Palm House will be available, she makes no guarantee or warranty on that behalf and shall not be liable in any way if said accommodation shall not be available for ay reason.
 
 
3. Accommodation shall be available from 3pm on the first day of the period booked until 10am on the last day of the period booked, by which time the guests are required to vacate the accommodation and leave the same in a clean and tidy condition. Any breakages shall be replaced with similar items, or cash to the value of the broken items shall be left with E. Thomas.
 
 
4. Guests must pay the deposit specified when submitting the booking form, unless the date of submission is within one calendar month of the holiday. Guests who make a reservation within one calendar month must pay the full cost of their booking upon submitting their booking form. It is a condition of the booking that the total cost of the holiday be paid not later than one calendar month before the first day of the holiday and any failure to do so will entitle E. Thomas to cancel the booking - in this instance your deposit is non-refundable.
 
 
5. E. Thomas accepts no responsibility for any property lost or stolen from the accommodation nor any accidents or injuries sustained in the accommodation whilst on your holiday.
 
 
6. Every effort has been made to ensure that the description of Guinea Royal Cottage contained in the details is correct. In the interests of improvement E. Thomas reserves the right to make modifications to Guinea Royal Cottage without prior notice.
 
 
7. On departure all guests will leave the cottage in the same clean and tidy state in which they find it.
 
                     
  CANCELLATIONS:              
 

The full holiday booking shall be paid if the holiday booked is cancelled or reduced in length for any reason other than the act of default of E. Thomas. Guests are therefore advised to notify E. Thomas immediately of any change of plan and in that instance E. Thomas will make every effort to re-let the accommodation and if she succeeds in doing so then all monies paid, less a cancellation fee of £35, may, at the discretion of E. Thomas, be refunded.
